Who’s behind the project?
Alister Chapman
Born and raised in England, Alister Chapman did his undergraduate and doctoral work at the University of Cambridge. His book Godly Ambition was published by Oxford University Press and his articles have appeared in many venues, including The Historical Journal, Books & Culture, and the Huffington Post. He is Professor of History at Westmont College and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Alister lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, children, and chocolate Labrador.
